i have an order about 10 moustache birds..

First i began with the bird bodies. Crocheted and filled.. They look like a ghost gang! :) Also listed it on my shop as ghost bird!

Then crocheted the wings.. About 20 little wings.. They'll all stitch onto body.

And after finishing the crocheting part,i'll cut moustaches from felt and then will stitch them onto bird's faces..
i am already tired:) but stay in touch to see the results:D

This lovely flower a gift.. Gift from my neighbour. She brought it in our first meet at my flat.

she is so kind.

when it arrived it only had 2-3 blossoms. i put it on my kitchen to cheer me up!

today while preapering breakfeast i noticed the all the lovely blossoms.. it made my day.. so bright and pretty.

i love it a lot.. All these gray and cold days, it makes the days more joyful :D

today i want to share amazing jewelries from our great group Artisan Gallery Team. The owner of these beauties is MarKhed Design .. She is a great artisan and very lovely friend of mine. ;)

As she summarize her items are ; "Artisan Indie designer earrings, rings, and necklaces in silver and semi-precious stones with my edgy, creepy, sexy, tough, yet feminine, aesthetic."

Lets meet her a bit more;

I make everything in my shop from scratch, using a jeweler's saw, silver and good ol' sweat and tears! I try to use machine made components as LITTLE as possible.

I have my bachelors and masters in architecture, but I found my true calling when I picked up a jeweler's saw for the first time 5 years ago.

After taking jewelry classes on the side for a couple of years, my life changed when I began selling my jewelry. I was hooked to the connection I formed with each client to whom I would sell a piece. So, I quit my safe job and dedicated all my attention to my own business in the fall 2009.

Right now I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where I was born and raised. I have a mostly messy studio in my one bedroom apartment that I share with my boyfriend and two dogs. It can get squishy.

i am a bit sad in these days, thanks god nothing about me or my family but my favorite yarns are out of sales.. this means my favorite items no more will be at the shop!

i'll look after new yarns for sure but i'll miss their softness and pale colors..:D

i crocheted my last bird with that yarn and a bit yarn left. then i crocheted a little bird.. Then added key charm and this little guy turn to a sweet little chick key charm.

today i woke up a bit early. i have some orders to finish and also heard my door bell ringed-i guess it was dream:D-

i looked out of my window and i wasnt able to see clearly because of fog. it is still foggy and there is a traffic jam out there..

that fog ispired me about jellyfishes and today my monday moodboard about them. Pls check the lovely shops on first picture.

Also i am a bit in love about jellyfihes, and try to crochet in every color.. My first jellyfish was crocheted by grey batik yarn..

30 little bird brooches.. What a fun to make..

First i crocheted the birds, little eyes ,mouths and wings.. working on small things takes a looong time .. then added brooch pins to back of birds..

Later on,cutted the little hearts from felt sheets. That took a long time too:D Red,brown and white.. They all looked lovely together.. Maybe they looks lovely on making gift packages..

Stitched the hearts on to the bird chest and then all done! Little bird brooches would be gift for holiday..

yesterday my hubby called and asked me to make fish for dinner. Of course i said yes, and went to shopping!

first p.o visited then some dvd shops! (i baught coco chanel and cant wait to watch!:D)

later we found a fish shop and baught 1 kg "hamsi" which is small and shiney little fish from Black Sea. At that shop also there were some village vegetables as well.. also organic!

i bought half kg green pepper to make pickle!:D

i love pickled green peppers so much it is great match with Turkish foods at dinners.

Can't wait to taste it!:D

in first step they are enough for me!:D

i crocheted a smaller bat and stitched it onto metal chain! it was fun while working on it and i was really curious about the result! i like it at the end! look how it is cool!:D

my new crocheted stuffed owl is ready.. Yesterday it was on my creative space and now it is alive!:)

Today i have to finish 2 orders but my heart is with this new owl!.
Hehehe, yes you haven't seen any owl in the picture but it!ll be soon, eyes are ready, body is almost done!

i picked fresh and shiny colors for my new owl,because i have already grey and brown ones!

vocation is over

we had very relaxing summer holiday.. We went to Balıkesir-oren whic is very small town and has blue flagged sea..

we ate,slept,swim and relaxed!

time gone quickly and on the back to our home way, we visited Canakkale(Gallipoli).. It is very important place in our history! For more info,pls click!

Every thing and every place was great, we wish to had extra holidays :)

it was sunny bright but windy and so perfect for us! we had a kind of picnic last day.

my daughter played with sand and children we met there..

some cakes,salty creakers and juice.. just we had!

That day i wore my new and super lovely bag which is a gift by iragrant! Again thank you dear!

heheheh.. i look like a pregnant lady on that photo but i am not! i am the victim of wind!:)

ohh i missed this game!
yesterday i was out and shopped at yarn stores.. i bought two new colorful yarn.. one is this dark grey..
when i saw the yarn ball,i just think bought the mice.. a mouse with pink little nouse,a little tale and cute black eyes..
yesterday night i started but still no progress..
it'll be here when it finished!:)

when i go to kitchen ,my daughter always asks to help!

she really loves helping ad her favorite work is holding the kitchen mixer..
she is 3 and a half..

in this photo she is making something very Turkish , "cacik":) yoghurt,water,cucumber and garlic.. a kind of mezze/ayran..

yes she is not enough tall, a chair helps her to reach!

being at kitchen with her is really fun but we always have a messy area while working! :)

This morning my huby went to another city for his works..

For a loooonngg time me and my daughter will be alone..

Also my dad had a surgery yesterday and mom and brother are all at the hospital for looking after him..
We visited too, but my daughter couldnt see her grandpa,she cried a bit.. :)

My dady will leave the hospital in friday,everything is up and now in here in these days..

so,i am not creative.. but i have some orders from my shop, try to finish them..

These colorful pages from Charlie and Lola book,which i ordered from USA, and my daughter loves sooo much!.

we will have a lot of time for this coloring thing,all alone..

we are celebrating childrens day today in Turkey ,

which is INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY Originated in TURKEY, Recognized by UNICEF, as a gift to the children of the WORLD!

my daughter participited the painting fun which has organised by local municipality.

she painted and painted..

that is her art! she is 3 years old by the way!:)

while i was thinking about mothers day, to find a special item, this lovely mom and baby chic came out!. very special gift for mother's day..

then i couldnt help myself to crochet more little chicks..

first yellow one,said "hi"

then the most populer color purple,turned to a chick..

and my fave color cyan blue chick..

i do not have a nest but have a lovely packaging rope ,just like a nest:)

it has been 24 days after got an order and finally i finished them all..
look what did i crocheted,

5 Reindeer Birds

5 Valentine Birds

5 Bunny Birds

and 8 owls (4 grey 4 brown)

i love my birds but they will fly to their new house in these days..

having a custom order is fun but sometimes gives me stomachache and makes me nervous. "if i crochet and finished them in time?!" thanks God no problem had and finished all my orders..
now free as a bird:))

i love japanese little goodies too much, while searching for them i found a lovely shop on etsy, littleteethshop

she has adorable items.. when i saw that little sheep face post-it memo pad just baught it with the Sandwich cutter - Transportation vehicle (a birthday gift for my friend's son)

she is so nice, sent a free gift -bookmark- too.. very friendly shop owner, i highly recommended and want to shop again!

Annnnddddd my lovely tags arrived today too.. i love them a lot.. i advise this lovely shop Homegrowngems too..
